Polish community in Hrodna celebrates Constitution Day on May 3
Members of the Union of Poles of Belarus put flowers to monuments of cultural and historical figures on that day.
The acting Chairperson of the Union of Poles of Belarus Angelika Orechwo has informed Euroradio about this.
Bouquets with white-red-white ribbons appeared at the monuments to Adam Mickiewicz, Elisa Orzesko, Catholic Priest Maximilian Kolbe, and also near the memorial shield dedicated to the events of September 1794 - Tadeusz Kościuszko held the military parade here.
A festive concert will take place in the office of the "Polonika" association after the holy mass.
