Opposition will not recognize election results
Five major opposition parties and movements have signed a joint statement.
The statement has been endorsed by Belarusian Popular Front, Belarusian Leftist Party "Fair World", Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada), the Movement for Freedom and the Tell the Truth civic campaign.
In the view of the opposition, the parliamentary election in Brelarus cannot be described as transparent and democratic, because the authorities interefered with the electoral process and put pressure on opposition candidates and their supporters.
The representatives of the opposition have also stated that numerous violations were recorded during the early voting stage phase of the election. The opposition also points out to censorship when recorded speeches of registered candidates were removed from broadcasts., reports interfax.by.
