New Swedish information project about Belarus
Stockholm human rights organization Östgruppen has launched the website “Focus Belarus”.
The online information project is meant for Swedish visitors, it informs about the human rights situation in Belarus. The head of Östgruppen Martin Uggla has informed Radio Liberty that “events in Belarus are often overshadowed by the other international events in the Swedish media space. The project “Focus Belarus” will help access a simple information channel and inhabitants of Sweden will be able to find out what is going on in this country”.
