Nadzeya Astapchuk case - Belarus sends documents to IAAF

He has told that Belarus sent all the necessary documents to the IAAF, in a comment to the newspaper Pressball. The documents state that the athlete's coach Yafimau had a prohibited preparation methenolone with him for treatment, as prescribed by the doctor. The confirming documentation is forwarded to the IAAF.

The shot-putter won a golden medal at this year's Olympics in London but was disqualified for doping. According to the official information, the athglete's coach added the prohibited substance to her coffee. In case the IAAF accepts this version, Astapchuk will have an opportunity to participate in the next Olympic Games, while the coach faces a 4-year disqualification.
