More than 300 participants of opposition action detained in Moscow
Participants of the meeting in Triumphal square spent the night in a police office.
The leader of “Yabloko”, Segei Mitrohin, and politician Boris Nemtsov were among the detained.
Let us remind you that representatives of the opposition gathered in Triumphal Square on the evening of December 6 to protest against the results of the parliamentary election. Members of youth movements who supported the governmental party “United Russia” also came to the square. There were about 5 thousand people in the square, informs RIA “Novosti”.
According to witnesses, the police detained participants of the opposition action only. Administrative reports about disobedience to the police and violation of the rules of organization of street actions were drawn up against many of the detained.
