Library Day marked in Belarus on September 15
There are more than 10 thousand libraries of different specialization in our country at present.
The holiday will be traditionally opened with festive events at the square near the Belarusian National Library, by the monument to Francysk Skaryna. Representatives of the authorities in the sphere of culture, and librarian community from different regions of the country will take part in the event.
Alongside with that, an exhibition "An Artist to Oneself" will be opened today in the National Library. This exhibition has been prepared upon the results of the contest, held among librarians from all over Belarus. 70 best works will be exhibited.
