"Krambambulya" sings at corporate parties of programmers and Mazyr OPP

Despite the crisis, Belarusian musicians are highly demanded at New Year parties. The band "Krambambulya", non-officially forbidden in Belarus, hardly has any free days in December.

"I wouldn't say that we have many invitations, but definitely not few. In comparison with the previous year there are much more. This is good, we will have time to celebrate, and it won't interfere with our lives, - frontman of the band Lyavon Volski shares his happiness, and reveals their steady clients. - IT-companies make a great share of them, including the state ones - once we performed for, it scares me to say this, the Mazyr Oil Processing Plant".

Volski and company will celebrate the New Year in the Moscow club Pipl, at the party "New Year in Belarusian". Among the participants there are"Krambambulya", Pomidor/Off, DJ papaBO, and "Lyapis Trubetskoy", whose director Yauhen Kalmykou says that this year the musicians shortened the number of well-paid corporate parties.

"Naturally, we like concerts better, but it would have been stupid not to perform in December. It is getting more and more difficult for us to play at corporate parties as the older audience wants to hear old songs when they invite "Lyapis Trubetskoy", - Yauhen Kalmykou explains the tendency. - However, there are always young people at every corporate party, who want to hear "Not to be a Beast!" etc. In the end of it all, we decided to decrease the number of corporate parties next year".

The dinosaurs of the Belarusian and Soviet stage - the band "Syabry" - like concerts better. However, they also play at closed parties. No wonder - even the Federal Security Service of Russia and "Dynama" Moscow hockey players want to hear Yarmolenka! Just try to refuse!

"I don't like corporate parties much but there is an economic necessity to work a lot. Nevertheless, I always stop working by December 30, - confesses frontman of the band Anatol Yarmolenka. - Several days ago we played for "Dynama" Moscow. Sometimes "Lukoil" invites us, or the Federal Security Service of Russia, or some banks".

Anatol Yarmolenka says that he doesn't know the price of his band. Like, there is a fixed rate but it is the director's business to negotiate.

As for the corporate payment of Belarus' most recent representative at Eurovision Anastasia Vinnikava, it grew by several times, according to her. Meanwhile, the young singer has songs only enough for forty minutes!

"There are corporate parties, although not too many. There are a lot of charity concerts, the time table is full, but these are not corporate parties. For example, "Song of the Year" is tomorrow.
