Julia Tymoshenko to be released on April 28?
Ex-Interior Minister of Ukraine Yury Lutsenko has informed about such opportunity in Twitter.
He has been recently
pardoned by the President and released. "Breaking news! - writes
Yury Lutsenko, - I had a telephone conversation with Štefan
Füle [ European Commissioner for Enlargement and
European Neighbourhood Policy , he says Yanukovich should release Julia
Tymoshenko on the Palm Sunday".
Yesterday, more than 20 women-MPs signed an appeal for pardon of Julia
Tymoshenko and passed it to the President's Administration. About 100
such documents were sent to Victor Yanukovich before.
Ukraine's former PM and opposition leader Julia Tymoshenko was sentenced to 7
years of imprisonment in October 2011 for abuse of the official powers during
signing gas contracts with Russia in 2009.
