Human Rights Commissioner to German Government not admitted to Belarus
Markus Lцning was going to pass Alyaksandr Lukashenka a letter from Germany's Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle.
The Human Rights Commissioner to the German Government also planned to meet with activists of human rights organizations during his 3-days visit to Minsk, informs Radio Liberty.
Associated Press has informed with a reference to Markus Lцning's words that Westerwelle's letter contained appeal for "humanitary solving" of some criminal cases, supposedly, this concerned political prisoners.
Lцning also planned to visit human rights defender Ales Byalyatski in prison. Let us remind you, Byalyatski is sentenced to 4,5 years of imprisonment.
