Hugo Chavez unable to be sworn as President
The ceremony was appointed on January 10.
However, as
expected, the ceremony was disrupted due to Chavez' health problems, RIA Novosti informs. He is in Cuba, receiving treatment
after the surgery connected with cancer.
Venezuelan authorities do not exclude that the ceremony may take place later.
Euroradio reminds, in October 2012 the 58-year-old Venezuelan leader was
re-elected as President for 6 more years. Hugo Chavez assured his voters that
he had no problems with health during the presidential campaign. However, his
health condition deteriorated in November and he has not appeared in public
since then.
