The reason for this post was the information about the execution of Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou, accused of Minsk metro blast organization.
The sportsman writes in his micro-blog that he would be against the death penalty even if Kanavalau and Kavalyou's guilt was obvious to everyone. Their death brought relief to few people, on the contrary, there appeared a feeling of barbarism. The sportsman also quoted Dostoevsky "It is better to be mistaken in mercy, than in punishment".
