Ex-political prisoner suggests opposition members to check at lie detector

According to Martsaleu's words quoted by BelaPAN, the leaders of the opposition, mentioned in the Dec.19, 2010 criminal case, are going to take part in the parliamentary electoral campaign in one way or another. However, the people involved in that criminal case were often accused that they had agreed to cooperate with the special services under the pressure. The reason for this was Ales Mikhalevich's confession and repentance letters of some political prisoners.

This caused the situation when the opposition leaders do not trust each other while the special services cultivate the rumours about such recruitment, Martsaleu says. In order to get rid of all doubts he suggests checking at lie detector.

The opposition leaders and other key figures of the parliamentary campaign, in Martsaleu's opinion, should confirm that they cooperate with neither Belarusian, nor foreign special services. He says that he is ready to be checked first, and suggests that the independent media should control the process.
