Dozens thousand people come to Chistiye Prudy in Moscow (photo)

The action was organized by famous Russian writers, Boris Akunin being among them. The aim of the action was to walk along the central streets from the Pushkinskaya Square to the Chistiye Prudy in order to clarify whether the Moscow inhabitants can walk around their city freely.

The representatives of the opposition have organized a camp in the Chistiye Prudy. 300 people stayed there for the night in the open air today although the weather was rainy. Many people also spent the night in the 24-hours Summer cafes located nearby.

The Russian opposition is holding the termless action "people's party". They demonstrate solidarity with those who were arrested and beaten during the "March of the Millions", dispersed by the authorities. It was a sanctioned action, it took place on May 6.
