Capriles cancels opposition action in Venezuela
The protest action was supposed to take place on Wednesday. The participants were going to demand vote recount at the presidential election.
The newly elected President Nicolás Maduro stated he would not allow the demonstration. It happened right after at least seven people had died during the protests against the election results, notes ВВС.
Capriles accused the government of violence provocation in order to avoid vote recount. He urged his allies to bang saucepans and cooking pots as a protest.
Maduro should be sworn as President on April 19.
