Belarusian-Lithuanian border jammed with vans

The Border Committee claims that the reason is “a twist of transit lines”, reports Interfax.by. Frontier guards say that some drivers prefer going to Poland through Lithuania. In their opinion, the difference in eth norms of fuel and some other goods import in Lithuania and Poland has caused the issue.

By the way, Lithuania cannot explain why there is a traffic jam near the border. Gytis Vincevičius, representative of the Lithuanian National Road Carriers Association “Linava” says that the situation has made them worry.
