Another fine for Br 4,5 million in Hrodna

Dmukhouski has noted in a comment to Radio Liberty that he did not participate in the action but was walking by and noticed how the people in plain clothes were dragging his friend Ihar Bantsar into the bus. They arrested Dmukhouski as well.

His case was considered on June 6. However, the judge did not take a decision as there was no Dmukhouski in the video-record, provided by police. Judge Natallia Kozel read out her decision on June 7 - she referred to the policemen's testimonies and made the sentence only on this basis.

Let us remind you, a non-sanctioned picket against the Russification of the school No. 36 with the Polish language of teaching took place in Hrodna on June 1. About 20 people were detained at the action. 8 of them have already received their sentences. Ihar Bantsar got 13 days of detention, while all the rest were fined for the sums 1-5 million Belarusian roubles.
