Radovan Karadzic to face Hague Tribunal today

A former President of the Serbian Republic Radovan Karadzic will stand trial in the Hague for the first time today. The hearing will take place in the room where another former Serbian President Slobodan Slobodan Milošević stood trial.
According to radio В92, the indictment embraces all crimes people usually stand trial for in the Hague including genocide. Karadzic will have to answer who will defend him: whether there will be lawyers or he will do it himself, whether he understands what he is accused of and whether he would like to plead guilty.

The leader of Bosnian Serbs will be able to answer the questions immediately or ask for a 30-days postponement.
