Putin's spokesman denies occupation plans for Vilnius, Warsaw, Riga

It should be recalled that the Russian leader reportedly warned Poroshenko that within two days Russian troops could occupy the capitals of Eastern European countries - Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, Warsaw and Bucharest. The content of this conversation, according to the German newspaper Suddeutschen Zeitung, Poroshenko conveyed to the European Commission Head Jose Manuel Barroso. Suddeutschen Zeitung did not specify when the conversation between Putin and Poroshenko took place.
