Pupils told to stay at home during opposition rallies

School children in the town of Kopyl, Minsk region are banned from attending the opposition-staged street actions.  The local officials gathered teachers and told them to prevent their students from taking part in the European March on October 14 and the Social March on November 4 in Minsk.

The school children are told to stay at home on those days. The teachers were reminded about their personal responsibility for the behavior of their students.

It is worth noting that the authorities in Minsk have not decided yet about the planned opposition rallies, but the officials in Kopyl have already labelled them as "unauthorized events", writes Nasha Niva
