Political activist Paval Sevyarynets released from Akrestsina

Paval Sevyarynets, the co-chairman of the BCD organizing committee,  was released after 10 days of administrative arrest.

He was greeted by his relatives, friends and colleagues at the detention center on Akrestsina Street.

Sevyarynets was detained on February 26 on his way to the rally of solidarity with political prisoners set to take place in the center of Minsk. He, like the detained participants of the rally, was kept behind bars for several days and was convicted only on Friday, February 28, almost three days later. Sevyarynets was sentenced to 10 days in jail.
