Polish meat disguised under Belarus labels

Police in Minsk found 3,5 tons of meat products being stored in anti-sanitary conditions in a trade center in Zdanovichy near the Belarusian capital. The Br50-million-worth meat belonged to three businessmen but no date of manufacture or expiry dates were marked on the product.

The vendors would put labels with the Belarusian brands like "Georgi and sons", Svitals and others. Experts said this meat could be eaten and should be destroyed, according to Zviazda newspaper.
