Poland promises to restore operation of customs by tonight

Border guards will team up with customs officers in order to expedite the processingh of vehicles on the territory of Poland. Drivers, stranded in queues, will be provided with food and all the basic necessities.
The border control authorities of Poland are allowed to help customs offciers in order to expedite the checks of the vehicles crossing the border, the Polish government said Гжэгаж Схэтына.

“We can count on a 100-percent service by tonight. We will need two or three days in order to clear up jams atthe border", Polish vice prime minister Grzegorz Schetina said. He added that the civil defense staff will provide food and fuel to stranded drivers.
