Pavel Sharamet interrogated about wanted Hrodna policeman

A journalist Pavel Sharamet has been interrogated in Moscow according to a request of Hrodna Region Department of the Interior. Belarusian investigators wanted to find out the whereabouts of a former head of Hrodna Region Department of the Interior, general Henadz  Hatsko. However, Mr. Sharamet has told ERB that he could not help the police in any way:
Pavel Sharamet: "Everything happened quite quickly because the interrogation was not long. They asked me if I knew the whereabouts of Henadz Hatsko because “Belarusian Partisan” wrote that the missing policeman was in Norway on March 18. However, I do not even know who was the author of that article because our resource is open. Naturally, I have never met Hatsko or his relatives”.

Pavel Sharamet joked answering the question why he had been interrogated about the internationally wanted policemen.

Pavel Sharamet: "It was the same with Dudkin. He is a captain of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who fled from Belarus. I answered that I had met Dudkin in Moscow. Probably the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs thinks that runaway officers of special police troops visit me or other journalists from “Belarusian Partisan” before heading for other places.”
