Overproduction hits Belarus factories

The industries in Belarus have continued working for the warehouse, reporting a 18,3% increase in the unsold stock since early this year.

As of February 1, the warehouse stock of watches have exceeded at 21 times an average monthly production output. Apparel industry has kept 4-4.5 times more unsold products in their stores compared to the monthly output.


The unsold stocks of stockings and socks have reached 22.5 percent of an average monthly output. Unsold shoes make 200 percent, while 180 percent of TV sets have remained at the warehouses.


The best sold items so far are mineral fertelizers, trucks, cement and vodka, reports BELTA.
