Orsha inns packed due to “Dazhynki”
Another festival and fair of village workers “Dazhynki” is starting in Orsha today. However, many people are unlikely to attend the festival and spend a few days in this town. All local inns are packed.
The ideological department of Orsha Executive Committee has informed ERB about it.
“Everyone has already been given accommodation: official delegations, artists, sellers and the press centre. There is only one big hotel in the town. We also have enterprises’ inns and they are all packed”.
The main events will take place on Saturday. Alyaksandr Lukashenka is expected to visit Orsha. Traditionally, he will award village workers.
According to BelaPAN, 20 scenes will be functioning in Orsha during the festival. More than 1.5 thousand creative ensembles from different regions of Belarus will give performances there.
Popular Belarusian artists Alyaksandr Tsihanovich and Yadviha Paplauskaya, Pyotr Yalfimau, Hyunesh, Kseniya Sitnik and others will take part in “Dazhynki”. A Russian singer Valeria and a band “Prime-Minister” are also expected in Orsha.
Furthermore, cultural institutions of Orsha district will organize out concerts of professional and amateur artists from all regions of the country.
