Opposition to conduct unauthorized action in protest of “black list” in Minsk
Representatives of the United Democratic Forces are going to conduct an action in protest of the list of people forbidden to go abroad due to their political activities in Minsk today. The leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka, the leader of “Malady Front” registered in Czechia Dzmitry Dashkevich, the head of an unregistered organization “Right Alliance” Yury Karetnikau and an activist of the youth movement Pavel Kuryanovich are going to take part in it.
They will picket the Ministry of Internal Affaires and the General Office of the Public Prosecutor to demand a liquidation of the list of people forbidden to go abroad for their political activities. The politicians will send copies of their appeal to the European Union and the OSCE with the help of the French Embassy to Belarus.
Anatol Lyabedzka gave an interview to BelaPAN and noted that opposition members had to express “an open protest against the serfdom including the impossibility to leave the country for political reasons”.
