Opposition activist questioned in Shchuchyn in connection with July 4 bomb attack
Zmitser Kukhley, a member of Malady Front, a Czech-registered opposition youth
organization, who is on the list of parliamentary nominees of the
United Pro-democratic Forces, was questioned at the KGB office in Shchuchyn on July 22 on suspicion of involvement
in a bomb explosion that wounded nearly 50 people at an Independence Day concert in Minsk on July 4.
Kukhley was arrested in his home city of Masty early on Tuesday and taken to Shchuchyn. He was allowed to go at about 7 p.m., BelaPAN reported.
