No permit for BNR wall sign in Mahilyou

The authorities in Mahilyou have refused to issue a permit to a group of local youth activists who sought to mount a memorial sign on the wall of a history museum where the government of the Belarusian National Republic was announced on July 12, 1918, Tatsiana Bulanava who had gathered 600 signatures in support of the initiative told the European Radio for Belarus.
She believes that the local authorities do not wish to recognize this fact officially because BNR is associated with the opposition.
