New accusation in Dec.19 case

The preliminary investigation department of Minsk City Department of the Interior accused Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu, Alyalksandr Fyaduta, Syarhei Vaznyak, Andrei Dzmitryyeu, Vital Rymasheuski and Nasta Palazhanka on March 30. They are accused according to article 342 CC – “organization and preparation for actions that rudely violate the order or active participation in them”.

The accusation is based on the preliminary investigation of evidence and documentary materials as well as detailed evidence presented by the people accused of the events that took place in Minsk on December 19.

Investigators have found out that their actions were aimed at involving Belarusian citizens in illegal mass events rudely violating the order to create an artificial basis for the non-recognition of the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus by the EU members states, the USA and Russia and introduction of economic and political sanctions as a way to exercise pressure on the official government in our country with the help and financing of foreign funds.

The named persons’ actions have been qualified. They will receive the criminal case papers and study them before the case is sent to court by the Office of the Public Prosecutor, informs zapraudu.info.
