The Warsaw Film Festival announced the project of a feature film dedicated to the life of Belarusian human rights activist, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ales Bialiatski.

The film will be made by the team of the Malanka Media. Earlier this team took part in the work on the series "Akrestsina" by Andrei Kureichyk.

According to the authors, the plot will be based on facts from the biography of the Belarusian Nobel laureate.

Two weeks ago, Malanka presented a medium-length documentary about the human rights activist titled "Bialiatski: I'm not afraid, let them be afraid."

Ales Bialiatski has been behind bars since the summer of 2021. He was sentenced to ten years in prison for helping the oppressed Belarusians.
