More Belarusians, Kazakhs and Kyrgistan nationals become Russian citizens

Around 2 million people have received Russian citizenship in 2003-2008. According to Russia's Federal Migration Authority, Belarusians account for the biggest percentage of those people.
Russia has an international agreement with Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgistan about the simplified procedure to obtain the Russian citizenship by the people from these three countries. Since 1998, 784 thousand people have been granted the Russian passports. But it is not exactly clear how many Belarusians are among them.
