Missing teenager found alive in woods after 7 days
Police in the town of Zytkavicy have managed to find a teenager missing for seven days in a local forest. Aliaksej Mazurau was found safe and sound 30 km off the district center town.
The boy took off to the woods last Sunday to collect berries, but he went missing, said Viktar Miranovich, the local police chief.
During the whole week, police officers joined efforts with rescuers and rangers to find the young boy. On Sunday evening, a resident from the village of Pouchyn tipped the police saying he saw a teenage boy near the forest.
When police arrived at the location, they could confirm it was the missing boy. Aliaksej Mazuray remained in a good health conditions by eating forest berries all this time. The police took the boy to his mother in the town of Zytkavicy, reports Belta.
