Minsk police advise that organizers of “Chernobyl Way” should not change itinerary

The head of Minsk police MG Leanid Farmahei has advised that the organizers of “Chernobyl Way” should better avoid changing the manifestation’s itinerary recommended by the authorities. “You should not confuse democracy with law violations. The police cannot allow law and order violations in the city”, - “Interfax-West” quotes him.
Let us remind you that Minsk City Executive Committee has recommended demonstrators to walk from the Academy of Sciences to Bangalore Square and Chernobyl Chapel past the “October” cinema-house along Hmyalnitski, Kuibyshau and Surhanava Streets. The organizers have decided to walk from the Academy of Sciences to Yakub Kolas square and then proceed along Vera Haruzhai and Maxim Bahdanovich Streets to Chernobyl Chapel.
