Minsk lacks second-hand bookshops

The capital lacks second-hand bookshops. There are about 20 bookshops in the capital now and only three of them are second-hand – “Second-hand bookseller”, “Wreath” and “Knowledge”. People visit them starting from early morning to put their books in commission but not all of them manage to talk to the expert due to long queues.

About 100 people bring more than a thousand editions to second-hand bookshops every day. As a rule, the books are popular: mathematics and physics school-books and higher school monographs.
