Makei: Belarus, N Korea share approaches to many international issues
Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makei says Belarus and North Korea have common goals including the development of a stable and independent economy.
Belarusian Minister for Foreign Affairs Uladzimir Makei met his North Korean counterpart Ri Su Yong in Minsk on March 9.
The Belarusian Minister expressed Belarus and North Korea’s interest in the development of the bilateral dialogue. In particular, it concerns trade and economic cooperation, he said. Belarus and the DPRK have a similar approach to many international issues, Uladzimir Makei said.
Makei: “Our countries have common goals: we want to develop a stable and independent economy and increase our people’s well-being”.
The representative of the DPRK has invited his Belarusian counterpart to pay a return visit.
