Lukashenka’s statement about Jews cause protest in EU and USA

The US State Department has suggested that Alyaksandr Lukashenka should withdraw his anti-Semitic statements. Its representatives noted that the Belarusian President’s comments pronounced at a meeting with Russian journalists on October 12 “aroused anxiety”. A similar appeal is being prepared by representatives of the US Congress.

The European Parliament and the Council of Europe have also criticized Lukashenka recently. These European organizations advised that the leader of Belarus should apologize for his “insulting words”, reports Radio Liberty.
