Lukashenka sends birthday greetings to Fidel Castro

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenka has congratulated Cuban leader Fidel Castro with his birthday, reports the official news agency Belta. The letter of congratulation noted that "thanks to the long-sighted policy of Fidel Castro, an inter-state Belarus-Cuban dialogue is deepening every year, while the friendship between the two peoples is strengthening". Lukashenka expressed confidence that Cuba would continue "making a contribution to the resolution of acute international issues in the framework of the Non-Alighnment Movement".
