The sanctions of the International Olympic Committee have strongly affected Alyaksandr Lukashenka. During a trip to the hospital in Stoubtsy, he called the IOC a gang.

"We need to go to court. Let Bach and the gang say what my fault is. Is it that I defend my country?!" Lukashenka was quoted by "Pool of the First".

As Euroradio reported earlier, the IOC removed the entire executive committee of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus from the Olympic Games and all IOC events. Among other things, the NOC President Alyaksandr Lukashenka and First Vice President Viktar Lukashenka were also targeted for sanctions. This also caused offense on the part of the Belarusian official.

“So you gathered all the countries and made a decision? One thing is attacking me, but why do attack my children? There is no justice in the world. If you construct a fair policy, you will be an enemy,” said Lukashenka senior.

The IOC conducted an investigation and found that the Belarusian NOC does not protect athletes from political discrimination. This became the basis for the punishment.
