Lukashenka alarmed over negative trends in economy
The Belarus's economy has displayed poor performance in several sectors, Aliaksadnr Lukashenka said when talking to a meeting on the results of the social and economic development of the country in the first quarter of 2007.

These negative trends in the country's economy was the main reason for Lukashenka to gather the meeting. The most alarming trend is the drop in economic efficiency as well as the production output slow-down. But in general the economy of Belarus had a stable development, Lukashenka stressed.
