Lufthansa cancels almost 4 thousand flights due to pilots’ strike
Germany’s biggest airline has cancelled most flights at the end of this week.
Lufthansa will cancel about 3800 flights and it will affect about 420 thousand passengers. Up to 500 flights will be made during the three-day strike, BBC notes.
Pilots announced the strike a day after Lufthansa had had to cancel 600 flights due to the airport staff strikes in Germany.
They demand a pay rise and improvement of the working conditions for older pilots.
