Large-scale teachers’ strike starts in Great Britain
Teachers from 8 thousand British schools will take part in the national strike about pay today.
According to The Guardian, headmasters and trainees will have to work instead of teachers. The newspaper has counted that every sixth school will be closed and a third of schools will not be accepting pupils.
Moreover, more than 100 thousand civil agents dealing with monitoring of schools or engaged in conducting school exams and about 30 thousand university lecturers will join the strike.
