Удзельнікаў акцыі памяці ў Курапатах спыняла міліцыя

An action in memory of the repressed people was held in Kurapaty Tract on October 29. Representatives of the Belarusian civil society took part it.

The police stopped the car with Ales Makayeu, Vyachaslau Siuchyk, Nina Bahinskaya, Alena Taustaya and Aleh Dashkevich after the action, Radio Liberty reports.

The police searched the whole car and found out that it had not undergone a technical check-up and had a bad headlight, Makayeu reported. They drew up reports on the spot.

A group of aggressive people in plain clothes were watching the action, participant Hanna Shaputska said.

Driving inspectors stopped Yauhen Batura and his relative when they were driving out of Kurapaty forest near the so-called ‘Bulbash-Hall’. Both cars were thoroughly inspected.

The police let off all the action participants. Five cars were stopped.
