KGB: No connection to Russian businessman’s detention

The Belarusian KGB has nothing to do with the detention of member of the broad of directors of the Russian company Intergeo Maksim Finskiy (part of Mikhail Prokhorov’s group Anexim), head of the KGB press service Dzmitry Pabyarzhyn told BELTA.

The right-hand man of billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov tried to dot cross the border with the help of a fake passport and got detained, Russian amass media reported yesterday. He was caught at the airport and delivered to KGB detention centre, they announced. Howvere, Finskiy is not in KGB  prison, Pabyarezhyn said.

The Russian businessman failed to pay numerous debts to Russian banks and other investors. A criminal case for major swindle committed by an organized group was started against him. Maxim Finskiy was under a house arrest in Moscow.
