KGB announces tender for sniper rifles (photo)
Special services need 8 rifles for 940 million roubles.
Tender ad for buying 8 sniper rifles of calibre .338 Lapua has been published at the web-site icetrade.by. The Belarusian KGB orders them, a blogger shlahcic writes.
The total sum for the purchase is estimated as 940 mln roubles (about 300 thousand USD), the price for one such rifle is about 25 thousand dollars, at the web-site salon-arms.ru.
When Euroradio's correspondent called the indicated number, there indeed was the KGB and they confirmed existense of the said tender.
