Homeless man hits taxi-driver with knife in Minsk in attempt to steal money

A robbery attempt was made against a taxi-driver in Minsk on July 30, informs BelaPAN. The incident took place in Syalitski Street in Zavodski District of Minsk.
A 39-year-old jobless Khazakstan born person who had previous convictions threatened the taxi-driver who had given him a lift with a knife trying to rob him of his money.  When the driver tried to resist him, the criminal hit the 29-year-old man in the chest with a knife and fled empty-handed.

The criminal was detained by the security department with the help of a patrol dog. The injured was taken to hospital.
