Has Lukashenka signed law “On Mass Media”?

Getting an answer to this question in his press service has turned out to be impossible. Meanwhile, according to lawyers, the two-week term provided by the Constitution for signing such documents is over. Employees of the President’s press service representatives of BAJ press service phoned to are referring to the fact that their boss Pavel Lyohki is on vacation.
“You will get to know about it when the information is officially distributed”, - claimed a young man who did not introduce himself. Another anonymous representative of the press service did not exclude that the law could have already been signed but the information about it “had not reached” them. “We send laws to mass media as soon as they are signed and sent to us”, - assured the anonymous interlocutor. Meanwhile, lawyers have calculated that the term provided by the Constitution is already over. According to art. 100 p.6 of the Constitution of RB, “if the President does not send a law back during two weeks after it was presented to him, it is considered to be signed”. The law was approved by the Council of the Republic on July 28 after the House of Representatives had approved it in two readings (on June 17 and 24).
