Germany limits contacts with official Minsk

The German Federal Government Commissioner for Human Rights Policy Markus Löning informed at a press conference in Minsk on January 15 that the Bavarian Minister of Economy has withdrawn the invitation to take part in a conference in Munich sent to the Belarusian Minister of Economy Mikalai Snapkou
According to him, the Bavarian Minister claimed that Snapkou’s presence at the press conference was “undesirable” in connection with the recent events in Belarus.
