G-7 to gather without Russia

Canadian PM Stephen Harper has informed the Parliament about his conversation with U.S. President Barack Obama. They discussed the possibility of conducting the G-7 summit soon. Harper criticized Russia’s policy in Crimea.

Canada had suspended all bilateral military actions with Russia, the PM said. The country keeps watching the situation in Ukraine with anxiety.

The G-7 leaders refused to take part in the G-8 meeting in Sochi in connection with Russians soldiers’ actions in Crimea.
