For Freedom activist in Hrodna gets blessing from Pope
Pope Benedict XVI has sent a written blessing to the Hrodna-based artist Kazimir Misyur who is set to work on the restoration of the altar in the local Cathedral.
The altar was destroyed by fire on July 13, 2006 in unclear circumstances. The artist who is also an activist with Milinkevich-led For Freedom movement in Voranava has been very excited with this blessing and describes it as the best evalkuation of his work.
"I am very pleased to be useful for Belarus, for the Catholic Church and for myself", he told the European Radio for Belarus.
