Four shells found on street in Homel
Four ground-to-air shells from the World War II were found lying on a street in a private neighborhood of Homel. Local residents at night called the police which cordoned off the area. Demolition experts started working in the morning only. They said the shells, simply lying on a road, could have exploded after any contact with a passing vehicle.
According to reports, the shells were lying next to scrap processing station.
The field engineers confirmed the shells dated back to the WWII times and destroyed them outside f the city, reports ONT.
